The SSH Jr. Reds is a development program designed to prepare skaters both physically and mentally for Melrose High School.  The freshman year of high school will be the most difficult step any player will make during his career.  The Jr Reds is designed to give these players a glimpse of reality.  The coaches will give these players an opportunity to understand systems, realistic expectations, personal accountability, and discipline.  All players are selected from the Melrose area.
